The Northern Blues Football club (Australian rules, not real football) recently held a charity luncheon to benefit several local good causes, they asked me to come along and cover the event for them.

The highlight of the presentation was most definitely the main speaker the legendary Mick Malthouse. While I must confess to not knowing much about the history of the AFL, his presentation made it clear that he had a great knack for man management and would have been a great success no matter which sport he had decided to ply his trade in.
