2014 has been an interesting year, one with a great deal of change, but a great deal of awesomeness too!
Ever since Erin and I left the stability of our life in Tokyo back in 2012 things have been in a constant state of flux, four countries, six houses and a lot of packing and unpacking we have found ourselves the owners of ten beautiful acres of coastal Victoria. Thank-you to the residents of Simpson for making us feel so welcome and to all of our new friends who have helped us through the first parts of the steep leaning curve that comes with owning land and trying to raise your own animals.
One of the only downsides to living out of Melbourne has been less than ideal internet facilities. After six frustrating months of wireless tethering I’ve opened the doors of my new office in the local town of Colac. I think this it’s worthy of it’s own blog post once everything is finally finished, but suffice to say a lot of hard work has already been done.
Hopefully this year will be the last one of major upheavals and we will be able to really start to kick on and realise some of the potential that we have here.
A final thank-you must go out to all of the amazing clients that trusted me enough to photograph their events, without you none of this would be possible.
I can’t wait to see what 2015 has in store!
